長いこと使っている、ペットボトルカバーがあります。もう3年は一緒です。ペットボトルに付着した水滴があちこちを濡らしにかかるのを防止できるし、選んだ色柄はシンプルですが、カバーのお陰で直ぐ｢あ、私のだ｣と認識できるし、気軽に洗濯機で洗えるしで年中大変重宝しています。見つけたのは近所にある百円ショップでして、安かろう悪かろうの時代なんてとっくに終わっているんだなぁ…いや、もしかしたらそんな時代はなかった？としみじみ感じております。ほつれや穴あきのような経年劣化現象もまだ見あたらないため、もうしばらくお世話になる予定です。一方、可愛らしい柄にキュンとなり少し奮発して購入した(それでも割引のタイミングを見計らいました)某スポーツブランドのロゴ入りペットボトルカバーは、実物もキュンなデザインで構造も頼もしい(飲み物がぬるくなりにくい構造らしいです)｢エリート感｣がただよう逸品なのですが、本体に金具が付いていてなかなか洗濯機に入れる勇気もなく、何より｢可愛すぎた続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

世界一寒い場所…というのは、｢世界一寒いと言われている場所｣としてとある共和国に2つあると聞いたことがあります。ひとつは居住区として世界一寒い場所、もう一つは都市部として世界一寒い場所…分ける必要、あるのかしらと思いましたが、色々な解釈や定義があるようで｢ここが世界一寒い場所！｣と言い切るのはちょっと難しいそうです。過去に居住区では-70度を超えた調査結果も報告されているそうです。気温の記録は年々変化するものですし、どちらも尋常ではなく寒いことには変わりないので、｢世界でもトップクラスに寒い場所｣という言い方で理解が得られるならば、それでいいのかもしれません。どっちが一番寒いかで揉めたりするのもイイコトないような気もしますしね。日本でも揉めたりせず｢何処が一番暑いか｣を競いながらそれぞれの地域が町おこし感覚でPR合戦をしていますから、良きライバルとしてそれぞれの地域に人を誘致して認知度を広げて経済を回しているパターンもありますから、上手くやっているなぁと感心します。｢どれだけ暑いのか体感しに来た｣と観光に訪れる方々が一定数いるのは、好奇心をかきたてられているのでしょうね。他国でも続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

我が家の茶色い同居人、キンカジューのご飯のバナナをよく購入します。1日２本は食べるのですが、あまり大きいと残してしまうし、小さすぎると足りないので｢ちょうど一食、満足できるサイズ｣を日々スーパーや青果店などのバナナ売り場にて吟味している次第です。最近は生鮮食品をまあまあお手頃価格で販売しているコンビニやドラッグストアもありますから、｢バナナがどこにもない！｣と焦ることもなく、ありがたくその恩恵を受けています。今は見慣れましたが、かつてはドラッグストアに精肉や青果、乳製品などの｢スーパーで良くお見かけする方々｣がシャンプーやら洗濯洗剤やらティッシュペーパーの皆さんとシレッと並んでいる光景は｢えっ！？｣と二度見してしまったこともあったっけ。他のスーパーよりヨーグルトが安い！と不意打ちみたいな展開にビックリする時も…あちこち見て回るのも、時間がある時にはちょっとした散策みたいな感覚で、意外と生活の張り合いにもな続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

新しくお招きした新入り加湿器「カトゥーくん」が我が家の人以外の同居人たちの部屋で頑張ってくれているせいか、乾燥してるなーという体感はかなり減り、人間サマもそれにあやかって乾燥肌によるカユカユ現象も少なくなったような気がします。空気清浄機殿も今まで通り尽力してくれてはいますが、さらに助っ人が加わった感じがして頼もしき布陣ができているなと。カトゥーくんに来てもらえて良かったなと心から感謝です(セール品でしたが)。実家にいた頃は一軒家でしたから、石油ストーブの上に水入りのヤカンを置いて水蒸気を発生させ加湿していました。あと濡らしてしぼったタオルや手拭いも窓際に引っ掻けて置いていたような。ヤカンの続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

ある雑貨屋さんにて「お清めスプレー」なるものを購入しました。部屋や職場など、何となくお清めしたい場所にシュッてするだけでいいとのこと。シュッとするとローズマリーやレモン系の爽やかな香りがします。香りの持続時間お清め用に作られた塩もはいっているそうです。お香もある意味お清め的な要素があると思うので、「おんなじようなカテゴリーかな」とつい手に入れてみたくなりました。神々が宿る場所のひとつとして有名な地域で精製されているという説明書きも何となく説得力を感じてしまって。お清め、というと穏やかなニュアンスですが、昔恐る恐る観た悪魔払いの映画では「聖なる水」とし続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

昨日からの話の流れで恐縮ですが…。せっかくリフレッシュやリラックスのためにヨガのポーズをしているのに、呼吸が浅くなってしまったり、息を止めてしまう独特の癖が私にあるのは、ヨガやストレッチだけに限った話ではないことに気づきました。最近洗剤や人以外の同居人たちの部屋を消毒する専用除菌剤などを詰め替えボトルから本体ボトルへと移しかえる最中、だんだんと満たされていくボトルを見ながらこぼすまいと真剣に対峙している間…気づいたら息をしていない(息を止めている)率がかなーり高いことに。無事に詰め替え終わると、｢…っはぁ、はぁ…｣と軽い疲労感というか、｢解き放たれた感｣を覚えるのはそのせいだったみたいです。詰め替えボトルから液体がどれ位本体ボトルに入ったかが直ぐ分かるような透明になっている部分があるボトルならそこまで緊張状態にはならないのでしょうが、意外とその計らいがないボトルに遭遇しやすいのです。だから｢気を抜けばあふれる｣という予測をしながらカンを研ぎ澄ませ、詰め替え作業を行う➡集中しすぎる➡息が止まる…ってなって続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

ここしばらく、お風呂上がりに「３分だけヨガ」をしています。３つのポーズを１分強ずつできるだけ深く呼吸しながら…３分だけじゃ、ちょっと短いかなとは思いながらですが、３分だけだから続いているのかもしれないと考えるようにしています。出来る時は「よし、やろう」と前向きな気持ちになれますし。私の場合、もっと長い時間をかけていたら、「めんどくさいマインド」が発動してしまいかねません。やってみたいポーズがあれば、増える可能性もあるかも…頭頂部と両ひざを床につけて両手をつなぎ背中にぐーっと真っ直ぐ伸ばす「ウサギのポーズ」、あぐらのような姿勢になり、両足の裏をくっつけ上続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

今年の干支は馬。馬といえば、チビ蜜だった頃に申し訳ないことをした記憶があるんです。馬にイタズラをしたとか馬に不躾な振る舞いをしたような話ではなく、生きている馬が対象ではないのですが…。とあるお祭りの露店にて、当時｢飴細工屋さん｣が出店しておりました。目の前で職人さんが飴を粘土細工のように操り、動物や人など様々な形状に仕上げていくパフォーマンスを華麗に行いながら販売するのです。いわゆる実演販売のような…お店周りには見物客と購入客とで人だかりが出来ており、チビの私は興味津々。人垣の中からわずかに見える職人さんの飴を伸ばしたり丸めたりカットして色づけしたりする様子に目が離せませんでした。一緒にいた父に｢飴欲しい｣と言うと、父ももっと間近で見たかったのか、買ってくれるという流れに。順番待ちをしている間に木の板に筆字で書かれた何ともイニシエ感あふるる縦書きメニューの看板が見えたので、私は｢ペガサス｣を選びました。ウサギに金魚にライオン、バレリーナなど、50種類くらいは書き記されていたと思いますが、大好きな猫ではなく、ペガサスを選んだのはいまだ謎です。父もちょっと驚き顔(猫オーダーを予想していたため)。その時は何となく｢ペガサス見てみたい…｣な気持ちだったのでしょう。 やがて最前列アリーナ(？)席で丸い半透明な飴が割り箸に刺さり、引っ張ったり伸ばしたり…ポカンと見つめているうちに、三分くらいで水色のペガサスが誕生したではあーりませんか。少し乾かしてビニールをかぶせ、｢続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

今年最後のブログ…といっても特にビッグニュースがあった訳でもないので、1年を少しふり返って書いてみようかな、なんて考えています。 入退院の繰り返しを経て2年、まだ2年かもう2年かどっちだろう…？これはどっちも当てはまるなと考えています。いまだ通院はしているからまだ2年だし、あっと言う間に45歳になったからもう2年、ですものね。再入院もしないですみ、入院が必要そうな予兆を感じる時がグッと減ったような気もして。一喜一憂はしてはいけませんが、｢仕事、家事、同居人たちのケア｣を粛々とこなして何とかここまできました。これも病院の先生や看護師さん、配偶者の清野さん、身内、銭湯仲間、仕事でお世話になっている方々にウチの子たち、皆々様のお陰です。色々な形の励みをもらったからこそ、今こうしていられるのです。揺り戻しや悪化はもちろん想像するだけでも恐いです。しかし、いただいた励みで少しずつ心の病が小さくなっていくのを続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

父、マネージャー、私は「密やかなる鳥好き」として「鳥って何か可愛いよね」と愛でる気持ちを大切にしています。それぞれに、いわゆる「推し鳥」がおり、父は文鳥、マネージャーは雀、私はインコが「鳥のなかでもひいきしがち」な子達として各々が「良さ」に陶酔しています。インコは大小サイズが様々で、個性的なところがあり、おねだりが可愛かったりツンデレだったりとなかなか同居のペースを持っていかれがちなところもまた「もう、しょうがないなぁ」とニンマリしてしまうんです。ここ数年は私がそれぞれの「推し」だけが印刷されたミニカレンダーをまとめて３つ買って、年末のご挨拶としておりますが、続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

同世代の知人に、｢部屋が暗いと眠れない｣という感覚を持つレディがいます。間接照明や、読書用ライト、オレンジもしくは茶系の蛍光灯の光レベルでも不安が募り、なかなか寝付けなくて…というちょっとハイレベルな｢睡眠時暗闇恐怖症｣のようです。物心ついたときからその傾向があり、独り部屋だった彼女は毎夜こうこうと明かりを付けておやすみなさいをしていたんだとか。修学旅行や合宿みたいな誰かと一緒になるときはどうしていたの？と素朴な疑問を投げかけると、｢カウンセラーさんとお医者さんに相談して、ほんの少しだけ睡眠導入剤をもらって飲んでた。薬を飲める年齢になるまではこっそり小さな懐中電灯を親に持たせてもらって、布団にもぐって明かり付けて何とか眠ろうとしてたけど、やっぱり寝つきは悪かったかな…｣と当時の作戦を教えてくれました。明るい照明のまま寝ると、体がちゃんとリラックスできないとか、眠りが浅くなり代謝が落ちがちになるなんて話は何度も聞いている続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

のど飴やトローチを舐めたらよりのどが渇いてカサカサしたような感覚になりやすく、鼻づまりを抱えたままお風呂にはいってもあまり解消されず(むしろ苦しさが増すことも)、つまようじで歯間を掃除したら余計に歯間の奥に食べかすが挟まってしまいがち…これって私だけなのでしょうか。のどが潤うように作られたのど飴、湿気と上記で乾燥が原因の鼻づまりが解消される現象、歯間の食べかすを除去するためのつまようじ…どれも今我が身に生じているモヤモヤを解決させるための手段やアイテムのはずなのに…熟考していったら他にも出てくるかもしれませんが、とりあえずパッと思いつく私的3大｢『うたわれている効能』とは逆の事案が起こりがち｣な生活行為です。もう長いことこんな展開になってしまうため、のどに違和感を覚えたら飲み薬か専用スプレーをシュッ、鼻づまりには点鼻薬を使い、食べかすはフロスか歯間ブラシでこそげ取るようにして立ち退いてもらっています。世間一般で大多数の方々が｢○○したら××するといい｣続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

実家時代の灰色の同居人は、初代はスミレさんというロシアンブルーの女王様で、二代目(同居期間は数年被っていますが)はアヤメというこれまたロシアンブルーのお転婆娘でした。アヤメは母がつれてきた子でした。かつて母が働いて居た場所に｢貼り紙をさせてもらえませんか？｣と若いレディが訪ねて来たことがあったそうです。話を聞くと、近所に住んでいるこのレディは猫を２頭飼っていて、つい最近新しく迎えた子が先住猫と折り合いが大層悪く、先住猫に攻撃され、新入りもケガをしてストレスで鳴きっぱなし。どうしようもなくなって貰い手をさがすために貼り紙をしたいというのでした(私がまだ20歳にもなっていなかった当時は、里親さがしや保護シェルターのような活動がいまほど活発ではなかったような…)。ぐったりした様子のレディを見て、ふとチラシを見た母は｢！｣となったそうな。チラシに印刷されていたのは生後半年くらいのロシアンブルーのメスだったのです。｢ウチで飼える…？いやでもスミレさんいるし｣という葛藤は多少あったものの、｢同じロシアンブルーなんて縁を感じる｣と判断し、レディに｢うちで引き取るわ｣と言ったようです。驚くレディ。そしてあれよあれよという間にアヤメが続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

とあるテレビ局のお話です。その局には沢山の局専門ヘアメイクさんがいらっしゃり、髪型やメイクアップを施してくれます。私もお世話になっています。件のテレビ局では、慣習というか、交流の一環として、アナウンサーさんがヘアメイクを終えメイクルームを出る際に、必ずと言って良いほど｢ありがとうございます。行ってきます｣とアナウンサーさんたちが言い、それに対し｢いってらっしゃい｣とヘアメイクさんたちが返すのです。もしかしたら他の局でもこのような挨拶は交わされているのかもしれません。しかし、私は件の局に馳せ参じメイクルームをお借りする度に毎回のように(アナウンサーさんと同席すると)耳にするやりとりなので、徹底しているのかもしれません。もう日常のヒトコマとして織り込まれているのでしょうね。ちなみにお仕事を終えたアナウンサーさんたちはメイクルームに化粧落としや、次の仕事のためのメイク直しに来るときは、｢戻りました｣や｢お疲れさまです｣と言いながら入室し、ヘアメイ続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

｢準備していたと思ってたんだけどなぁ…してなかったかぁ…｣と、今起きている状況に思わず遠い目をしてしまうことがあります。いくつかの事案を紹介させていただきますと、｢お風呂の給湯ボタンの押し忘れにより、『おっふろー、おっふろー』と裸ん坊になってバスタブのフタを開けたらカラッポ｣とか、｢電動アシスト自転車のバッテリーを充電したと思いしばらく家事をして、いざ『かっいものー、かっいものー』と準備万端でバッテリーを持ち上げたら｣充電器のコンセントが抜けていて…とか。怒りでも悲しみでもない、｢虚無｣の状態になり、数十分前の自分に｢確認して確認ー！｣と脳天にチョップしたくなる感情が芽生えます。弱り目に祟り目とはいったもので、お風呂の給湯ボタンを仕切り直すつもりで押してソファで寝転んで待機していたら寝コケてしまい、｢オフロガワキマシタ｣(我が家は大体15～20分でお伝えがあります)ボイスを聞き逃し気づけば一時間ほどうたた寝を…というパターンにも遭遇経験がありますね。あまり続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』
