先日、新聞の折り込みチラシをパラパラと見ていましたら、｢防災グッズ入りリュックサック(カート付き)｣が通常よりお値打ち価格にて通信販売されているチラシを発見しました。二人家族が大体２～３日は凌げるような内容量だという文言で紹介されておりました。簡易トイレ、非常食に飲料水、薄型毛布や拭き取り式歯磨きペーパー等々、災害時に衛生環境を保ったり、栄養補給をするためのグッズが大きなリュックサックの中に沢山入っていました。軽量化されたハンドル充電式のライト付きラジオも入っており、情報が届かない恐怖も軽減させる手厚さに感心するばかりでした。これを買えばいざという時に…と考えましたが、実は同じメーカーの非常用持ちだしリュックサックを数年前すでに購入していたので、新調の機会は今回は見送りです。耐用年数内の我が家のリュックサック、時々は点検しなきゃな、と改めて思い直した点ではチラシに感謝です。 昨年、一応リュックサック点検はしました。購入時ついてくるグッズ以外にも個人的に必要な生理用品、メガネ、履き続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

祖母おリュウが住んでいた秋田のお家は、雑木林や森林多めの学校の近くにあったせいか虫がよく家の中に入ってきていたものでした。様々な種類の虫たちが縦横無尽に飛び回ったり跳ねたり横断したりする光景は、昔から怖いというより興味深く感じました。都内で見る虫より大きい印象でしたね。特に網戸や壁ににピッタリ貼り付く蛾は幼心に｢おっきいなぁ｣と興味津々だったような。昼間外で遊んでいる時は蝶々を追いかけてキャッチ＆リリースしていましたが、蛾は何となく｢捕まえにくい…｣と見るだけにとどめておいたものです。蛾の中には触るとかぶれたり腫れたりするモノもいるから、あんまり触ったらダメ、とおリュウから言われていたのもありましたしね。ぷっくりとした胴体を見せつけるように羽を広げて止まる姿、その羽根の独特な柄が顔みたいに見えたり、触覚の形が細い葉っぱが沢山付いた枝や鳥の羽みたいに見えて、長いことじーっと眺めていました。夜行性で羽を広げてとまるのが蛾の特徴で、蝶々は昼行性で羽を閉じてとまるのが違いだよ、と教わったこともあります続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

小さい頃憧れていた女子が出てくるマンガやアニメ、いくつかあると思います。真似をしたりごっこ遊びの対象になっていて、作品をモチーフにしたオモチャやキャラクターグッズが販売されると｢欲しいなぁ｣と親にダメモトでお願いしたものです。買ってもらえるときもあれば、そうでないときもある家庭環境というか教育方針でして、オモチャより実用的なグッズのほうが手に入る確立は高かったような。タオルとか、お弁当箱とか、作品のスピンオフみたいに描かれた絵本なんかも買ってもらえた記憶があります。 ｢憧れの女子｣は個人的な見解ですが、私が幼少期の際はざっくり分けると3つのタイプに分かれていたような気がしますね。ひとつは｢お姫様系｣。お城での暮らしやパーティーの様子に目を輝かせていました。お姫様なのに冒険をする的なストーリーも、そのお転婆さに親近感がわいて、より｢いいなぁ｣と感じるんですよね。次に｢魔法少女系｣。変身魔法で愛と希望を世間に振りまきながらも素性は秘密という設定が多く、正体バレしませんようにと願ったり。敵と戦う展開も多く、ピンチの場面では仲間が助太刀に入ったり続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

｢個人的に気になる数字｣がいくつかあります。3つ4つ、あるんです。銀行や病院、その他の順番を整理番号で管理している施設や環境等でその番号が目や耳に入ってくるとつい反応してしまうんですよね。大体4ケタか3ケタの数列です。1つは｢1203｣もしくは｢123｣。これは12月3日という自分の誕生日をイメージします。不思議と0123だと親近感がちょっと遠のきます。何となく1月23日っぽいからでしょうか。やはり1203をこれまで様々な場所に記入したり入力したりしていたのも背景にあるのでしょう。次に1980。これは生まれた西暦ですから、こちらも親しみ深い数列ではあります。1203より広範囲(？)的になりますが、1980年生まれというのも｢昭和55年生まれ｣というより各所で意識してきていますから自分との距離も近いと勝手に思っています。いわゆる｢松坂世代｣(一部では｢広末世代｣とも表現続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

たまたま立ち寄り借りた商業施設内にあるお手洗いにて、ハッとさせられました。洗面台付近の壁に貼り紙がしてあり、｢手をちゃんと洗っていますか？石鹸で10秒手を洗うと、大概の菌はいなくなります。10秒洗い、10秒流しましょう｣的な説明と推奨の文言が目に入ったのです。10秒洗い、10秒流す…計約20秒を手洗いに使いましょう、というメッセージにドキリともしました。数年前の新型感染症拡大時は丁寧に手を洗っていましたが、果たして最近は意識して手洗いをしているかしら？と自問自答しましたよ。喉元すぎればナントヤラ…最近は石鹸は使えどサッと洗っていたような…ワクチンも打ったしマスクもしている…でも今だって新型感染症やその他のウィルス感染などにかかるリスクはゼロではないのです。ふり返るとしばらくの間20秒もかけないサッと洗いを繰り返して慢続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

仕事場に向かう途中の移動車の中から、ディスプレイの一環として招き猫を置いているお店が見えました。招き猫は手のひらサイズの小さなもので、手が太陽電池的な原動力のもとユラユラと常に動いており｢招き続けている猫｣タイプのものでした。見た感じサービス系のお店でしたから、左手がユラユラしていました。左手をあげている招き猫は人を招くと言われていますね。ちなみに右手は金運や幸運のような概念的なものを招くとされています。常に動いているでしょうから、お店の窓から歩道に向かい｢こっちにおいでおいで｣と招くパワーも強そうです。ユラユラの暗示にかかり、ついふらふら引き込まれたりして。しかも招き猫の色は黒。黒い招き猫は魔除け、安全祈願、そしてお客招きの意味もあるため、お店側は盤石の体勢で招き猫に願掛けをされているのが悟れました続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

我が家のすぐ近くにある公園にて、15時～16時くらいになると小学校を終えたであろう帰り道のキッズたちがよく集って遊んでいるのを見かけます。小学校にも校庭はあるのでしょうが、野球やサッカーなどの広い場所が必要なクラブ活動をするキッズたちもいるため、｢遊ぶ｣となると公園の方が遊具もあって好都合なのかもしれません。遊具の中でも鉄棒は見ている限りかなり人気のようで、キッズたちはグルグルと回ったり棒の上に座ったりぶら下がったり…元気に動き回っていますね。個人的には鉄棒のすぐ近くにあるブランコの方が楽しかった記憶があるのですが、ブランコより鉄棒と戯れるキッズの方が多めで、若干ハイテンションで遊んでいるような。鉄棒が放つ謎のポテンシャルの高さにキッズたちが心も体も影響を受けている光景…平和で何よりです。令和の今でもいわゆる｢スカートまわり｣をしている女子を見たときは驚きと感動でしばらく｢まだここは昭和かも～｣とノスタルジックな感情を噛みしめてしまいましたよ。スカートの下にはち続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

滅多に見られないキレイなモノ、壮大なモノなど…そう言われているモノを見るとやはり嬉しいものです。偶然の要素も大きいですしね。｢見たよ｣という話を聞くと羨ましい気持ちにもなりますね。知人は登山の最中にハロを見たことがあるそうです。雲の中にある氷の粒に太陽光が屈折して出来る現象をハロ現象と言い、通称｢虹の輪っか｣とも呼ばれています。橋みたいな姿の虹は私も見たことがあります。まん丸い虹みたいな光の輪っかは極めて珍しい現象だったらしいのですが登山に同行していたガイドさんいわく｢天気が下り坂｣なのを暗示しているため、用心して下山したそうです。予定していた登山のプランからは少し外れてしまったようですが、キレイだった～とご満悦の様子に、やはりいいなぁ、と思いました。 滅多に見られない…程では無いようですが、たまにしか見られない光景と言えば、私はダイヤモンドダストを見たことがあります。大気中の水蒸気が昇華されてできた、小さな氷の結晶が天から舞い降りてくるアレです。よく晴れた朝、氷点下１０度以下という条件が重なると見られると聞いて、馳せ参じた仕事先で見られる続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

仕事で時折お世話になる年上の男性知人は、双子です。いわゆる「そっくり双子(一卵性双生児)」らしく、知人は兄で、そっくり弟さんは違う仕事をしており、そこまで離れた場所で暮らしていないため、たまに会ったりはしていりようです。「仲は良いほうかな」と話していました。どちらも所帯があるようですが、それぞれのお子さんたちは双子ではないとのこと。「中高時代、たまーに入れ替わったりしてたよ。学校違っていたから、どんな感じなのか見に行きたくてさ」というビックリエピソードまで聞いてしまいました。やはり出てきた質問は「ばれなかったですか？」でしたが、(ホントか嘘か)「いつも一緒にいたそれぞれの大親友的な子にはばれたけど、あとはばれなかったね。性格そんなに違わなかったからかもねー」と笑っていました。そうか、ちょっとやそっとじゃばれないのかな…と、続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

先日のラッキー(？)話から派生した話をひとつ。少し前に、押し花やポプリなどを手作りしたり既製品を集めたりするのが趣味の知人から｢ラッキーのおすそわけだよ｣と四つ葉のクローバーシール(シートタイプ)をいただいたことがあります。クローバーは本物の葉っぱを加工したモノらしく、緑が美しい押し花状態になっていて、お手紙やメッセージカードにちょっとしたアクセントとして貼ると先方もきっと喜ぶよ～とオススメ使用方法まで教えてもらいました。一円玉を一回り小さくしたような小ぶりのシールでして、確かに｢ささやかな幸せを願っています｣感が伝わるなと思いましたね。ありがたく受け取り、｢グッドラック｣を添えたい相手に思いを伝えた際の｢追いグッドラック｣として使わせてもらっています。四つ葉のクローバーは幸福のシンボル、という話を信じるかどうかは置いておいて…もしただのジンクスだ続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

目覚まし時計が鳴る数分前に目が覚めると｢…ちょっと損したかも｣とションモリしてしまうのは私だけでしょうか。30分以上前に目覚めたりした場合は｢ん。もう少しだけ眠れる｣と二度寝体勢に入ろうとするのですが…数分前だと二度寝なんかしちゃだめ！と起きるモードになりますね。30分前でも二度寝はあまり推奨されていないようですが…二度寝、心地よい場合が多くてついついしちゃうんですよぬ。この現象、たまになので特に深刻な問題として捉えてはしていませんが、目覚ましが鳴る前に起きることは緊張状態が寝る前から続いている可能性もあるため、リラックスするための深呼吸や瞑想、ストレッチなどの副交感神経を優位にさせるアクションをとることが必要だそうです。一応寝る前は出来る範囲で数分間ヨガポーズをとったりしているのですが…足りてない時もあるのかもしれませんね。とりあえず、ちょっと損したかも…の気持ちを上手く切り替えて｢支度時間が多く取れるじゃないか｣と前向きに起床できたら続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

海外から来た方々が｢我が国では比較的普通の現象｣に対してカルチャーショックを受ける…そんな事案のひとつに｢大人でもアニメやマンガなどのキャラクターグッズを愛用する人たちが多い｣、が挙がるという話を聞きました。欧米ではいわゆる｢キャラものグッズ｣は基本はキッズ達のために作られたモノという考え方で、大人になるにつれ卒業する流れが普通だと考えられているようです。確かに、昔観たアメリカが舞台の海外ドラマで、キャンプに馳せ参じた若人達のなかに｢某有名テーマパークの主要キャラクターのひとり｣がプリントされたバスタオルやブランケットを持ってきて周囲が｢まだ○○ちゃんのタオルなの！？｣と驚かれて笑われてしまう…なんてシーンを見たことがあったような。笑われた本人は｢俺は一生○○と一緒だ｣と当たり前であるかのごとく主張していましたが。このシーン、日本ならそこまで異質な出来事として描写されないと思います。彼はちょっと変わ続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

話す側が答えを知っているのに、あえて相手に質問や問いかけをして再確認や再認識を促す教え方がある…確かそんなような教えのテクニックの存在を学んだことがあるなぁと、ふと思い出しました。学校なら先生が生徒に｢○○するにはどうすればいいと思う？｣｢～ってなるのはどうしてだっけ？｣のような問いかけをしたり、家なら親や保護者が｢××したらなんて言うんだっけ？｣｢△△はどうやったら上手にできるかな？｣…みたいな。小学校から帰ってきて、見たい雑誌が自宅に届いているのを発見し、すぐに読みたい！の気持ちでいっぱいになって雑誌に手を伸ばそうとしたら、祖母おリュウに｢ただいま、ってしたら次は何するんだっけ？｣とうがい手洗いと着替えを促されたことを思い出しますね。おリュウはうがい手洗いと着替えをしなさい、とは言わず質問提起の形で｢雑誌はうがい手洗いをして、着替えの後でゆっくり読みなさい｣と伝えたのでしょう。ああ、そうかこのままではダメだったね、と幼心に｢順番順番…｣と、一旦ガマンする気を持って行動続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

｢鯉は意外と悪食で大食漢なのよ｣と言いながら、殺めた女主人を縛り上げ、鯉がうじゃうじゃと泳ぐお屋敷の池の底に沈め、鯉に女主人を食べさせる計画を遂行しつつ何食わぬ顔でお屋敷勤めの使用人として居座る女中…そんなトンデモな状況が描写されたミステリー系マンガを読んだことがあります。結局彼女の悪事は主人公によりばれてしまいますが、それまでの間、共犯者としてロックオンした女主人の婿殿(何かと女主人に虐げられてきたのを女中は見て知っていた)を色仕掛けで誘惑するわ、殺めたという弱みにつけ込み後妻にしてもらうわで贅沢三昧やりたい放題の元女中となったマダムにゾワゾワしてしましました。ゾワゾワしながらも、｢目的ハッキリしているとためらいとか慈悲とか無くなるタイプなんだろうなぁ｣とある意味したたかで冷静な姿に女中だった彼女がどうやってそうなっていったのか興味は持てましたね。下手に近づいて手にかけられるのはまっぴらゴメンですが続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

とある仕事場には、書類や原稿にに加筆したり区切りの印、覚え書きなどをするために自由に使えるペンを用意されている所があります。どなたでもどうぞ、と3色ボールペンや細めのサインペン、蛍光マーカーペンなどがペン入れに入っておりバリエーションも豊富で、打ち合わせの際には大変ありがたく使わせていただいております。中でも私がよくお借りするのが鉛筆です。黒鉛筆、赤鉛筆と使い分けて字を書いていると｢なつかし～｣という感情が押し寄せてきますね。遠い昔…まだランドセルを背負っていた頃に宿題や授業中に鉛筆を使っていた時の｢アノ感覚｣…今でも体感できる機会があるってラッキーかも、と使う度に思います。ノートやプリントにはキレイに丁寧に字を書きましょうね、と指導されてゆっくりじっくり書いていたら｢齋藤さん、鉛筆の芯が折れちゃうよ｣と担任の先生から苦笑されたこともあったっけ。ゆっくりじっくりに重きをおきすぎて、かなり強い筆圧になっちゃってたんです。 仕事場に続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

｢それくらい、自分で決めることでしょ？｣｢もう決めるのはアナタなんだから…｣と言われることたまにがあります。決断力がゼロ、という訳ではないと自分でも思ってはいるのですが、決めることが得意かと聞かれたら｢多分得意じゃない｣と答えるような気がしてなりません。小さい頃からバリキャリの母やハッキリシッカリした祖母、教え上手な父に囲まれた独りっ子。家庭環境や厳しい学則などの影響もあり、｢○○でいいんじゃないの？｣｢～にしたら？｣と提案されて｢イヤ！△△にする！｣と我を張る流れになりにくいというか、その発想に至らない事案ばかりの生活をしていたような。こうしてふり返ると思春期をむかえても大人になっても、大体のことに｢○○にしたらいかがでしょうか？××という点からも良い気がします｣と提案されたら｢ふぅん…じゃあ、それで｣と成立してしまうことがほとんどのような。たまーに｢私は○○の方が…｣とさりげなく意思表示することもありましたし、今もすることはありま続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

以前から気になっていた｢石鹸が2つ入る石鹸置き(吸盤貼り付け式タイプ)｣がちょびっとだけ定価より安く提供しまっせ、とインターネット通販サイトにて表示されていたので、｢ちょびっとでもありがたや｣と購入いたしました。到着してすぐにお風呂場にセット。予想通りの使いやすさに｢はぁ。今まで知らなかった世界だ…｣と思わず感嘆のため息が出てしまいます。私はフェイスタオルをよく使うため、生乾き匂い対策としてお風呂場に洗濯石鹸を置いて下洗いしてから洗濯機で洗っています。湿度対策も兼ねて部屋干しする場合もあり、その時も洗濯石鹸は必要です。そして(ボディーソープも一応セットしてありますが)体を洗う用石鹸もお風呂場には常備しておきたい…そんなニーズに応えてくれる存在が、｢石鹸が2つ入る石鹸置き｣だったのです。ちなみに欧米生まれの某有名家具ブランドで売られていた、少し高めの件の商品には｢スクエア・ダブルソープディッシュ(サクションカップタイプ)｣と表記されており、あ続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』

我が家にいる｢キンカジュー｣はアライグマの仲間に分布されます。しかし、｢キンカジューってどんな生き物？｣と聞かれて｢アライグマの仲間でね…｣と紹介＆説明しつつ、質問した相手に画像を見せると｢アライグマ…？っぽくないね｣と大概言われます。確かに生物学的(？)分類がアライグマの仲間、というだけで生態や形態は似ている部分は少ないようにも感じます。口内に鋭い牙を持っていたり、暖かい地域に生息しがちだったり、手足の爪が鉤みたいに長めでシャキーンとしていて細長い指を持っている…なんて部分は似ているなと思いますが、肉食寄りの雑食で小動物を捕食する傾向にあるアライグマに対しキンカジューは果実や花の蜜、昆虫を好んで食べるようですし、アライグマは山林の地中や木々のふもとに巣穴を作りますが、キンカジューは樹上生活をしていると聞きます。似ている箇所より異なる箇所の方が多いような…説明するには、自分の携帯電話から画像を出して｢この子です｣とお見せするのが一番早く的確だなと思う今日この頃です。どちらも表情や仕草が愛らし続きをみる『著作権保護のため、記事の一部のみ表示されております。』
